Scope of the contract

As part of the revision of its communal master plan, the City of Carouge turned to mobilidée to conduct a complete analysis of its cycle network.

Suggested solutions

The first part of the diagnostic consisted of taking stock of the different types of cycling infrastructure in the municipality to assess their continuity and coherence. The problems of the network were then identified and categorised. Two key sites – Rondeau de Carouge and Boulevard des Promenades – were selected to carry out a more detailed assessment in order to provide examples of concrete proposals for further study (e.g. inversion of parking spaces with the cycle lane, statistics on cycle traffic at peak times).
